Rose City Mitzvah Meals
Offering Monthly Opportunities to Volunteer Alongside Jewish Community
Locations Across Portland

Rose City Mitzvah Meals brings volunteers together twice a month to prepare and serve meals for neighbors experiencing hunger across Portland. Rotating through each quadrant of the city, this program creates opportunities to volunteer close to home, connect with fellow Jewish volunteers in your neighborhood, and build relationships across the broader community.

Every two months, we’ll return to the same meal site—allowing volunteers to deepen their impact, become familiar faces, and see the difference consistent service can make over time.

Whether you join us once, volunteer in your neighborhood, or travel across Portland to serve at multiple locations, there’s a place for you at the table.

Come cook, serve, connect, and help nourish our community—together.

If you have any questions about this program, please contact Merit Pinker, Volunteer Coordinator, at [email protected].
