Next to Cedar Sinai Park, Portland's only Jewish senior living facility, is a network of trails called the Al Lewin Legacy Trail. These trails, enjoyed by senior residents and neighbors, are in need of clean up and regular maintenance. The Jewish Federation of Greater Portland has formed a volunteer clean-up crew to meet on a regular basis to keep the trails clear of trash and debris, remove invasive ivy, and restore parts of the trail affected by graffiti. These short work parties will have a major cumulative impact! Join the effort to restore this important community resource.
The group has been on hiatus during the nesting season but is reconvening for a work party focused on trail safety!
