Al Lewin Legacy Trail Clean Up Crew
Volunteer at Monthly Work Parties to Steward the Land & Maintain Trails Benefitting Portland's Only Jewish Assisted Living Facility
Al Lewin Legacy Trail Trailhead - Located at Cedar Sinai Park, Behind Rose Schnitzer Manor

Next to Cedar Sinai Park, Portland's only Jewish senior living facility, is a network of trails. These trails, enjoyed by senior residents and neighbors, are in need of clean up and regular maintenance. The Jewish Federation of Greater Portland has formed a volunteer clean-up crew to meet on a regular basis to keep the trails clear of trash and debris, remove invasive ivy, and restore parts of the trail affected by graffiti. These short work parties will have a major cumulative impact! Join the effort to restore this important community resource.

Thank you to the Robison Foundation for Jewish Elders, Cedar Sinai Park, and the Westside Watershed Resource Center for the collaboration on this project.

Work parties are scheduled from August - January during the non-nesting season.

If you have any questions about this program or would like more information about future work parties, please contact Merit Pinker, Volunteer Coordinator at [email protected].
